Matthew Bandy’s South Africa Tour

Limestone is excited to announce that Matthew Bandy will be embarking on a mini tour of South Africa from the beginning of February 2012. He will be gracing the decks in Johannesburg, Pretoria, Polokwane, Midrand, Vaal, & Eastern Cape. Supporting Matthew throughout the tour will be South Africa’s very own Levi Live, so this is one not to be missed!

Xakosa (pronounced Zakosa) is a new project consisting of Toni Economides, Matthew Bandy and Rick Collins. Together, the three are a force to be reckoned with. “Heaven Only Knows“ is sexy yet dark, soulful but techy – the result of Toni and Matthew’s production work and Rick’s rich, bluesy vocals. Subtle synths work perfectly under a tough groove set by swinging hi-hats and 808 Toms; these are the foundation for a contrasting vocal, almost reminiscent of Prince.

Limestone is excited to announce its next release entitled “Grass Is Greener”, by the extremely talented singer and songwriter Donn T.

Donn T is no stranger to the music industry. Besides her album Kaleidoscopic which was released in 2010 on More About Music, Donn has a very impressive background. Not only has she written for the likes of Common, & Jill Scott, Donn has shared the stage with prolific artists such as Amy Winehouse, Little Dragon, Zap Mama, Nelly Furtado, Black Joe Lewis & The HoneyBears, John Legend, and her older brother Ahmir “?uestlove” Thompson of the The Roots. Her music has been featured on compilations & films across the globe. Be on the look out for her second album Right Angle which will be released in 2012.
